Two For Joy
I know this café in Amsterdam since the first days when they opened near our lovely studio in the Utrechtsestraat. It hasn’t changed that much since then. Sure the menu changes and so does the furniture. Also they’ve opened a new one in the other side of town, but it still feels homey. The waiters know me, the coffee is good and you’re free to have meetings, work on the table or just drop in to take your coffee away. Also it is a good place to meet nice people, since the atmosphere is so relaxed, people actually talk to each other.
Another good thing about the Two For Joy is that they roast their own coffee, and they do it very well. Of course you can buy it to make home your own caffeine fix, but if you go and sit, you can have your coffee made in a wide variety of ways, even in this Japanese thing.
